Got some Shangri la vouchers from another blogger... hehe lovely... tempting... and overspent again... should have just stayed away.... but how tempting it was... :D Esp when it has been some times since I went to this place... maybe about 2 years? Not too sure... just too many places I want to go to, and Nadaman just don't jump up when I am thinking of places to have my meals at.
I am glad I had picked this day to visit Nadaman , cause of their Hokkaido Fiesta... which I thought I might have some special dishes that are not in their regular menu.
After placing my orders.... come the usual spinach and bonito shavings... with a piece of fish cake... didn't make any impact on me... all I remember of it was it came in a nice bowl.
How can I resist ordering some of my favorite sushi.. So... I had
Uni Sushi
Toro Sushi ( I wish I had ordered more of this.... maybe next time)
Hokkigai Sashimi (Hokkaido hokki clam sashimi) I didn't like this enough.... Maybe I was hoping for something that is closer to blood clam...
Sake Ikura Zousui (salmon and salmon roe porridge)
I am a sucker for any thing that's carbo!! Esp Rice in any form of broth I would like :P i think like is a rather mild word to use for my LOVE for it :p
And this was really yummy! :D Pity I had so much rice with the sushi... I wasn't able to finish :(
Gula melaka ... Their version of Gula Melaka ... it's an ice cream wrapped with mochi skin and drop in a pool of cream, with alot of other ingredients... red bean paste, blueberries, raspberries, mango bites, sago, and a side bowl of Gula Melaka :P~~
this is one reason why I would go back there... just for this dessert. :D
Another meal gone... I think this is a sabotage. A deliberate action aimed at weakening my wallet :P Giving me more Shangri la vouchers to entice me to come back again, when I had spent more than I wanted to this time round....
But I think I would... just for you... Gula melaka ... :P
